Does an ending require the whole game?
In the developer-showcase narration shared by nerdError, three endings are described, and the first is said not to require completing the whole game. This is an attributed pre-release statement, not a verified description of the shipped build.
What this does not establish
The narration does not provide ending names, story outcomes, a puzzle-count threshold or an unlock checklist. It supports a distinction between reaching the first ending and finishing the entire puzzle set, but not a route to a particular ending.
