Four directions, flexible order
The official overview places four world routes around the central Overworld and says there is no single prescribed order.

PlayStation’s demo report describes the Queen using powers learned from other characters to reach more of the Overworld. Look for a way a familiar ability changes the hub’s obstacles instead of treating progress only as a cleared-room count.
Travel and revisit
The demo Q&A describes fast travel through a miniature world with teleporters back to the main world.
The publisher encourages backtracking to another region when a puzzle is difficult. Continued exploration clears more fog and reveals additional parts of the Overworld.
